PARTICIPANTS REQUIREMENT
Young interior design professionals who have graduated in 2017, 2018 and 2019.

Penultimate year and ultimate year students of architecture and interior design diploma and undergraduate courses.

Project Requirements

  • Name and Theme Concept
    All projects must start with the project title and theme/concept.
  • Design Concept Statement
    - Design statement should not be more than 800 words, saved as Microsoft Word file format in A4 size.

Presentation (A2 size)

At least 3, but not more than 5 A2 sized sheets are to be submitted as soft copies in pdf format. Your submission must meet the following criteria:

  1. Please ensure that the site, site details, site analysis project details, floor plans, elevations, sections, 3D views, perspectives, colour choice and any other information relevant to your design are submitted in the alotted maximum 5 A2 sheets.
  2. You could refer to the Nippon Paint colour palette and other products available on www.nipponpaint.co.in for your colour scheme and to enhance the quality of your spaces.
  3. Presentation must be designed in landscape format and be submitted as a single PDF.
  4. Shortlisted candidates will be notified to make an oral presentation in front of an eminent jury.

Checklist

  1. Label all areas on the floor plans.
  2. Mention North point and add graphical scales to the drawings.
  3. Read the theme and brief throroughly. Prepare your submissions: Presentation & Design Statement.
  4. Please note that, we would advise you to restrict your word limit on the A2 sheets to 100-150 words per sheet.
  5. Do not place your name or other identifying information on your boards to ensure anonymity during judging. Entries with names written on the sheets will be subject to disqualification.

Is your design able to deliver and demonstrate commercial or social values?

TECHNOLOGY

Does your design maximise or leverage tech-enabled connectivity and/or intelligence?

SUSTAINABILITY

Does your design comprise sustainable and eco-friendly elements which help preserve the natural environment?

COMMUNITY

Does your design contribute not only to its users, but also the communities that surround it?

DURABILITY

Will your design stand the test of time, from both an aesthetic and a physical perspective?
